Drawing the attention of intending candidates and sitting MLAs, N Biren said that there is no restriction on holding peaceful rallies in a democratic country but statements that may defame others should be avoided in election campaigning at all cost.
"Work in the interest of people and avoid goondaism," he said.
"Let the electors decide their leaders freely," he added.
For BJP, the resolution taken by the Parliamentary Committee at the Centre would be final, N Biren said and urged the BJP workers to work at their level best so that the saffron party can form the Government again in Manipur.
The Chief Minister also sought support from the people of Manipur.
Saying that lack of integrity will weaken the party, the Chief Minister asked all concerned to dedicate themselves to the unity of the party.
Contending that there is a positive change in Manipur with the coming of BJP led Government at Imphal, the Chief Minister said that Go to Hills programme is popular in hill districts.
Saying that affection couldn't be bought, he added that Go to Village will also begin from the first week of November.
He further said that the majority of the villages will be covered before the enforcement of election code of conduct.

Stating that the people want a stable and people oriented Government, she urged the BJP workers to dedicate so that such governance could be delivered to the people.
The Government should deliver and the BJP is best suited for it, she added.
