Governor interacts with community leaders at Moreh

MOREH, Oct 25 : Governor La Ganesan went on a maiden trip to the border town Moreh today and interacted with the community leaders there.
The Governor was prayed at Sri Angala Parameshwari Sri Muneeswarar temple at Moreh where he was felicitated by the Tamils.
Later an interaction programme was held at the conference hall of Tamil Sangam Moreh in the attendance of former Autonomous District Council Chandel Chairman Lunkhosei Zou, former ADC member Cecelia Haokip  and  different community leaders residing at Moreh. At the programme, the Government was apprised of the  poor infrastructure at Moreh, lack of access to potable water  and tele-communication and inconvenience being caused in commuting along the Imphal Moreh road.
They also urged the Governor to upgrade Moreh Fire Station and to open the India-Myanmar border gate which was closed due to the COVID-19.
