Ima Mangi condoled

Many continue to convey condolences over the sudden demise of prominent women leader and activist 'Ima Mangi' on November 8.
Ethno Heritage Council (HERICOUN) in a press release expressed grief over the demise of Ima Mangi and also extended their condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul may rest peacefully in the Heavenly abode.
HERICOUN recalled her numerous contributions towards the major issues of the State and stated that she also played a pivotal role to protect the identity of Khwairamband Keithel.
HERICOUN maintained that the State has lost a strong women personality and her demise will leave an irreparable void.
The Loumee Shinmee Apun Lup (LOUSAL), Manipur also mourned the demise of Ima Mangi who was also the vice president of Khwairamband Nupi Keithel Sinpham amadi Saktam Kanba Lup.
LOUSAL while conveying condolences remembered Ima Mangi as a notable women leader who was a strong support system for the working class people of the State.
Young Women Street Vendors Association (YWSVA) too held a condolence meeting to condole the demise of Ima Mangi where the attendees observed two minute silence as a mark of respect and prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
Floral tributes were also paid to the photo of Ima Mangi. The role of Ima Mangi and her selfless contributions not only in the issues of womenfolk of Khwairamband but in the important issues of the State were lauded during the condolence meeting, said a press release by Young Women Street Vendors Association
