Sit-in protest staged

THOUBAL, Nov 10: Langathel Mayai Leikai Meira Paibi on Wednesday staged a sit-in protest at Langathel Keithel Macha demanding the State Government to award befitting punishment to Shagolsem Arnold (27) of  Langathel Laikom Leikai for his alleged involvement in a missing person case of October 31.
Speaking to media person, Mema Devi, mother of the missing person, Moirangthem Premdas (32) of Langathel Mayai Leikai alleged that his son had gone missing after he went to Moreh for lumber work with Shagolsem Arnold.
In this regard, after receiving a complaint about the missing person, Arnold was reportedly brought in for questioning by Khongjom police on November 5.
The protesters further appealed to the State Government to look into the matter and award befitting punishment to all involved at the earliest.
