MTWJAC condemns

Manipur Tribal Women Joint Action Committee (MTWJAC) has appealed the concerned authorities to intervene on the matter of alleged non-implementation of schemes for BPL people by the Department of Horticulture and Soil Conservation.
As per a press release issued by Manipur Tribal Women Joint Action Committee today, the Committee has decried the reply to RTI by the Dept of Horticulture and Soil Conservation regarding the implementation of State and central sponsored schemes such as Technology Mission (I and II), Soil Conservation, MHD, MIDH and others.
The reply to the RTI, which was filed by S Kamei, denied the implementation of the aforementioned schemes for the past 5 years in the hill districts of Tamenglong, Churachandpur, Ukhrul, Senapati, Chandel, Kangpokpi, Kamjong, Noney, Tengnoupal, Pherzawl and others, the statement added.
MTWJAC has resolved to launch agitations if the concerned department fails to present white papers for non-implementation of the schemes.
