MPDF condoles

IMPHAL, Nov 2
Manipur Peoples' Democratic Front (MPDF) organised a gathering today to condole the passing of former president of Janata Dal (S) Manipur and former editor of Ching Tam Manihar Goswami at the Head office of MPDF, Sagolband Tera Thingbaijam Yambem Leirak.
In a statement issued today, MPDF informed that the event was graced by former MCA and president of MPDF N Nodiyachand Singh as the chief guest.
Manihar Goswami was a socialist leader, political activist, editor and a scribe and his demise is a great loss to the State, the press release added.
A two minute silence was observed in honour of his memory.
MPDF further offered their condolences to the bereaved family.
