BJP booth level meeting held in Keishamthong AC

IMPHAL, Nov 23: Cabinet Minister Ashok Singhal has appealed the people of Keishamthong AC not to worry about who will get the BJP ticket in the upcoming election as the party leaders will make sure that the most deserving candidate is given the ticket.
Ashok Singhal made the remark while speaking at a booth level meeting which was held today at YUC ground in Kwakeithel Moirang Purel leikai organised by BJP Keishamthong Mandal.
The meeting was attended by Cabinet Minister Ashok Singhal who is also BJP election co-incharge; N Biren, president, BJP Keishamthong Mandal; Nishikant Singh Sapam, social worker and L Santosh who are preparing to contest the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election from BJP ticket in Keishamthong AC; Th Basanta, vice president, BJP Manipur and N Nimbus, vice president, BJP Manipur amongst other.
Speaking at the meeting, Ashok Singhal said the assembly of numerous voters of Keishamthong AC at the meeting was testament of the growing popularity of BJP amongst the people and it will ensure that the BJP candidate will win the election in Keishamthong AC by a margin of more than 5000 votes. He also appealed to the attendees to give awareness to 20-20 houses about BJP and take the mantle of campaigning for the party. This will ensure that the BJP candidate has a 100 percent chance of winning the upcoming election, he maintained.
Ashok Singhal also urged the people of the State to remember the injustice carried out during the Congress rule in the State and said the State has become free of bandhs and blockades since the coming of BJP led Government in the State.
He also expressed confidence that BJP will win a minimum of 40 seats and retain power in the State.
