Kanghuchingjin village bodies appeal

IMPHAL, Nov 26: Kanghuchingjin Khulen Village Development Committee, meirapaibis and Kanghuchingjin Naharol Club have jointly instructed the tenant farmers of Sabam Loukol (paddyfield) to refrain from paying their land owners and the land owners from collecting these payments.
As per a statement from Kanghuchingjin Khulen Village Development Committee, a meeting was held on November 25 between the three aforementioned bodies where they arrived at the resolution to cancel the payments to the land owners for the year of 2021.
It may be noted that due to inadequate rainfall, the farmers of Sabam Loukol had witnessed a lot of difficulties in harvesting their crop. Hence, the three bodies arrived at the resolution to alleviate the farmers' plight.
