N Loken extends Ningol Chakkouba wishes

IMPHAL, Nov 4: President of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee N Loken Singh has conveyed his warmest greetings to the people of Manipur and diaspora with the coming of Ningol Chakkouba, one of the biggest festivals of the Meiteis.
A press release issued by Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee today stated that Ningol Chakkouba spreads the message of oneness, uplifting the status of married women in society and treating them with respect. The statement further expressed hope for development, mutual love and understanding, peace and prosperity in the State with the arrival of the festival.
