Ningol Chakkouba gifts distributed

BPR/KAK/THB, Nov 5: On the eve of Ningol Chakkouba festival, Moirangthem Ashinikumar, BJP intending candidate of Thanga AC and chairman, Manipur Development Society on Friday distributed gifts to 600 widows of Thanga AC at his residence in Keibul Mayai Leikai.
Similarly, Ksh Kennedy Singh, INC intending candidate of Kakching AC also provided drinking water to all the households of Irengband, Bijoypur and Pallel as a gift for Ningol Chakkouba.
In line with the celebration of Ningol Chakkouba, former Minister Moirangthem Okendro distributed gifts to 3621 women of Heirok during a function held at his residence in Heirok Part-II Mayai Leikai.
Speaking on the occasion, the former Minister expressed his anguish over the recent spree of violence in Heirok and prayed that the auspicious festival of Ningol Chakkouba may bring back peace and harmony in the area.
Likewise, Lilong Youth Organisation (LYO) also celebrated Ningol Chakkoubal at Khekman under Lilong AC and distributed blankets.
