45th State Level Kho Kho Championship 2021 concludes

KAKCHING, Nov 30 : SCESDO, Heirok claimed both the senior men's and women's titles of the 45th State Level Kho Kho Championship 2021 organised by Junior Athletics Kabaddi Association (JAKA), Kakching at Kakching Popular Sporting Club (KPSC) playground under the supervision of Manipur Amateur Kho Kho Association (MAKKA).
The final match cum closing function was graced by Md Fajur Rahim, MLA, Wabagai AC; Y Nilachandra, intending candidate from Kakching AC; social workers, P Baby Devi and M Gyanila Devi as presidium members.
In the women's final, SCEASDO got the better of SYVA, Athokpam 20-17 to emerge champions before SCEASDO men's team downed ASKKA, Awang Sekmai 16-15 in a keenly contested match for the men's title.
M Ibemmani Devi of SCEASDO was named women's best player as K Dhananjoy Singh of ASKKA was named best player in the men's category.
