Political meeting held at Moreh

TENGNOUPAL, Dec 13: In view of the upcoming Manipur Assembly Election 2022, a political meeting for all the communities residing in Moreh was held on Monday at Hill Tribal Council Moreh office.
It was attended by leaders of Meitei Council Moreh (MCM), Tamil Sangam, All Community Development Organization Moreh (ACODOM), Manipuri Muslim Council Moreh (MMCM), and Gorkha Samaj Samiti among others.
During the meeting, Jangmang Haokip president Hill Tribal Council Moreh announced his candidature for the upcoming Assembly Election from 42-Tengnoupal AC.
He also appealed to all the community leaders of Moreh to provide their support for the forthcoming election.
Later, the meeting resolved to elect a candidate from Moreh to bring equal development in Tengnoupal district and extend support to Jangmang Haokip.
