Bodybuilder Y Luwangba feted

IMPHAL, Dec 13 :  Bodybuilder Yumnam Luwangba who clinched in the junior men's 70 kg category gold and overall junior third place title in the 59th Mr Manipur was accorded a warm reception by Oinam Romen, who is geering up to contest upcoming MLA election from Singjamei AC.
It may be noted that  the All Manipur Body Builders Association organised the grand bodybuilding and physique contest at Asha Hall, North AOC from December 11 to 12.
The felicitation programme was organised by National People's Youth Front (NPYF), Singjamei Block in Yumnam Leikai.
Speaking at the occasion, social worker Oinam Romen said that it is very important for all  to encourage sports persons as they are playing a significant role in making the State known to the world.
Manipur will secure a notable recognition if all youth start refraining from indulging in intoxicants and instead dedicate their time and energy in positive areas like education and games and sports, he said.
He also assured to come up with a youth policy which will be beneficial and encouraging to all youth in the Singjamei AC.
 Oinam Romen also encouraged the bodybuilder to do more with a cash reward of Rs 10,000 at the occasion.
It was also promised that the NPYF, Singjamei Block will sponsor Y Luwangba in his future competitions.
Sports enthusiasts, Leishangthem Upendro, Huirongbam Iboyaima and Mutum Digbijoy also felicitate the bodybuilder with a cash reward of Rs 5,000 each.
