1st IW Dist Polo Tournament KMMRS-A, MPSC-B complete semi-final line up

IMPHAL, Dec 15 : The semi-final line up of the ongoing 1st Imphal West District Polo Tournament organised by The Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association was completed with KMM Riding School-A (KMMRS-A) and MPSC-B defeating their respective rivals in the quarter final matches staged today.
In the tournament's third quarter final match staged here at Awang Potsangbam Khullen, KMMRS-A cruised to a 7-5 win over KRYPHSA, Naoremthong.
KMMRS-A started dominantly and were 2-0 ahead till the first chukker with H Mohindro scoring twice.
KRYPHSA however pulled level in the second chukker as K Sona and H Revichon scored a goal apiece to enter into the halfway break with the score leveled at 2-2.
The third chukker saw K Sona and H Revichon scoring a goal each again while H Mohindro scored twice and O Rojer added a single to hand KMMRS-A a 5-4 lead.
KRYPHSA managed another goal via H Revichon in the third minute of the as H Mohindro grabbed two goals to give KMMRS-A a 7-5 victory and book the semi-final berth.
Latter in the second match of the day, MPSC-B thrashed Laman Polo Club-A 10-2 to set up semi-final date with KMMRS-A. MPSC-B had a prolific start to the game and were 6-0 ahead till halfway as Th Ranjit scored the only goal in the first chukker and H Abung Khuman scored thrice and I Pradeepkumar chipped in twice in the second chukker.
In the third chukker, O Suresh Singh scored a goal for MPSC-B and Abothe pulled a goal back for Laman Polo Club-A to make it 7-1.
The last chukker saw O Suresh scoring all three goals for MPSC-B and Emoton scored the other goal for Laman Polo Club-A.
