MPSC congratulates bodybuilders

IMPHAL, Dec 15
The Manipur Police Sports Club has extended heartfelt congratulation to its bodybuilders who have participated and won medals in the 59th Mr Manipur contest held recently at Asha Hall from December 11 to 12 under the aegis of the All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA)
The Manipur Police Department appreciated and encouraged all the players and coach and in-charge of MPSC Body Building team for their outstanding performances and further blessed them that they may bring more laurels to Manipur Police in future, said the club in a press release.
It may be noted MPSC bagged 7 medals in the said contest including 3 gold, 3 silver and one bronze medal of the total 8 athletes participating in the event.
Those who participated and won medals for the club as per the press release are : Jem Nk Bhopendro (Sr 80 kg : Gold), HC W Kiran Singh (Sr 80 kg; Silver), Hav RK Manjit (Sr 85 kg : Silver), C/D L Subhaschandra (Sr 85 kg), C/P Ksh Arunjit (Sr 70 kg : Gold), C/P P Nandajit (Sr 65 kg : Bronze), Rfn L Okendro (Sr 60 kg: Silver) and Rfn L Ojitkumar (Sr 75 kg: Gold).
MPSC also greeted Hav Y Nilbir Singh who was declared best coach of the year.
Nk Bhopendro and Y Nilbir Singh led the MPSC bodybuilding team as manager cum player and coach respectively and the team emerged overall team champions in the said contest, it said.
