Royal Gymnasium fetes athletes

Royal Gymnasium, Ningomthong today feted players who participated and earned medals in the 59th Mr Manipur bodybuilding and physique contest held from December 11 to 12 at Asha Hall, North AOC under the aegis of the All Manipur Body Builders Association.
The felicitation programme organised at the Gym premises was attended by Chirom Jasobanta, ZP Member from Bashikhong ZP as chief guest; K Ranjit, retd Police Officer as functional president and Dr A Sharatchandra, advisor to the gym and social worker, Ch Loken as guests honours, said the Royal Gymnasium in a press release.
The athletes who were feted during the function include Bhopendra Nongmeikapam (gold medallist in Sr 80 kg) of MPSC the gym's very own L Naresh Singh (gold medallist in  Sr 55 kg), K Jasobanta (gold medallist in Sr 65 kg), Luwanganba Yumnam (gold medallist in Jr 70 kg), M Remix Singh (silver medallist in jr 75 kg), Th Yaisana (bronze medallist in jr 60 kg), Sinthoibi Mangang (bronze medallist in women's bodybuilding) and Joyjit Waikhom (4th place Sports Physique), the release said.
