Political awareness programme held

Ukhrul, Dec 3: BJP Chingai Mandal under the sponsorship of Dr Khashim Ruivah carried out two Booth Level Political Awareness programmes at Jessami and Kharasom in Ukhrul district on Friday.
The awareness programme was conducted to strengthen the saffron party and consolidate the booth level leaders under 45-Changai AC for the ensuing Manipur Legislative Assembly Election 2022.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Khashim Ruivah, BJP intending candidate from 45-Chingai A/C stressed on the need to elect a representative with strong political vision and integrity to bring all round development in the region.
"It is the responsibility of every right thinking citizen to give their mandate to the person with good leadership quality for a better governance", he asserted.
While highlighting his vision for Chingai AC, Dr Kashim Ruivah mentioned that the incumbent BJP Government is development-oriented and is working to elevate the living standard of the people.
He also stated that the BJP Government has been working to improve roads and bridges, provide safe drinking water and better health care facilities to the people.
It may be mentioned that Dr Ruivah is currently seeking the blessing of BJP high command for the party ticket for the upcoming elections.
Headmen, chairmen and several BJP unit leaders also spoke at the event.
VAs, youth leaders, party workers, villagers and well wishers attended the programme.
