IMPHAL, Dec 8: One Binoy from Yairipok who threatened SIMS to have three candidates who failed to clear the admission test admitted in the institute made a public apology today.
He was made to tender the apology at a press conference held at AIMS HO at Kwakeithel today.
Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Sinpanglup (AIMS) also clarified that they have no connection with one Binoy who had threatened Saina Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) for selection of three students who had failed the paramedical exam for admission to SIMS.
Franky Ningombam, joint secretary AIMS, said this at a press conference held at AIMS HO at Kwakeithel and added that Binoy had impersonated as general secretary of AIMS and threatened SIMS to have  the three students admitted to the institute.
