Excavator burnt

IMPHAL, Dec 8 : An excavator was set ablaze by some unidentified miscreants on the night of December 6 last at a place situated between Makan and K Ashang Khullen in Kasom Khullen, Sub Division, Kamjong district.
The act of burning the excavator which was used in repairing road stretch from Kangkum junction till Wangle under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana has been strongly condemned by the Border Area Fraternity Association (BAFA).
Chairman of BAFA, Bejoy Shinglai, in a statement, has termed the act of burning the excavator while the labourers were resting as a cowardly and uncultured act.
He further appealed to all concerned to ensure that such acts do not recur.
