Village level leaders’ consultative meet organised

Imphal, Feb 11: As a part of Know Your Schemes campaign of the Irabot Foundation Manipur (IFM), a village level leaders’ consultative meet was held yesterday at Ngarumphung in Kamjong district.
The meet was attended by headmen and people of Ngarumphung and its adjacent villages such as Ramrei, Murei and Sailent Khun.
At the event, IFM president Thongam Ajit and general secretary Kh Gopen Luwang apprised the gathering about the various schemes of the Government.
Thongam Ajit said that only a section of population is taking advantage of the Government's schemes and as such bridging the gap between the implementing agencies and the people is crucial. Gopen, meanwhile, said that the “Know Your Schemes” campaign was launched on January 27 to inform the people about the various schemes of the Government.
Lauding the Government for the Startup Manipur, he appealed to the Chief Minister to release the pending fund of the beneficiaries.
