ABVP conference

IMPHAL, Feb 11: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is organising its State conference on February 13 and 14 at Manipur Kangshang, Khuman Lampak, Imphal.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur press Club, ABVP Manipur State secretary Umesh Tensubam said the conference will be attended by Padma and Arjuna awardee Oinam Bembem as chief guest and ABVP National joint organising secretary Niwas as special guest.
Names of new State executive members for the term 2021-2022 will also be announced during the conference.
On February 14, the ABVP will pay floral tributes to slain soldiers who lost their lives in the Pulwama attack.
Babina Group of Companies chairman Dr Th Dhabali and Department of Adult Education (Manipur University) Associate Professor Dr Lamalu Thaimei will attend the conference as secretary.
MU Chemistry Department Professor N Rajmuhon, RIMS Cardiology Department’s Dr Th Sachin Deba, NEILIT Executive Director T Prameshwor, MSCU (Manipur State Cooperative Union) VP Jeena Potsangbam, retired MSPDCL MD L Priyokumar, ADC Senapati Executive Member Th Thaikho Peter, Wangbrel Decors’ proprietor Ksh Rustom Kumar, singer Kennedy Khuman and actress Soma Laishram will also attend the conference, he said. ABVP Manipur joint secretary RK Rabichandra and ABVP State media convenor Royalray Salam were also present in the meet.
