IMPHAL, Feb 12: Even as immunization continued with 3,322 frontline personnel getting Covid vaccine jabs today, 11 people tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated has reached 19,266 including 16,761 healthcare workers, said Government COVID-19 Common Control Room.
Meanwhile, the 11 people who tested for COVID-19 include 10 civilians and 1 personnel of the Central Armed Police Force. With this, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases has reached 29,166 while the number of active cases is 56.
So far, 28,737 people have recovered from the disease and the recovery rate stands at 98.52 percent.
With zero deaths due to COVID-19 recorded in the last 24 hours, the death toll remains at 373.
The Government Covid report issued by Additional Director (Health), Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang said the 11 fresh cases (including one security personnel) were detected at laboratories at Raj Medicity (3), RIMS (2), Shija Hospital (2), Chandel (2), Babina Diagnostics (1) and Advance Hospital (1).
The 10 civilians hail from Imphal West (4), Imphal East (2), Kakching (1), Tamenglong (1), Tengnoupal (1) and Churachandpur (1).
On the other hand, 8 people who were under home isolation have recovered from the disease, said the report.
The cumulative number of Covid positive cases has reached 29,166 including 25,735 civilians and 3,431 Central security personnel.
The cumulative number of recovered cases has reached 28,737 including 25,322 civilians and 3,415 Central security personnel.
The number of active cases is 56 including 44 civilians and 12 Central security personnel, added the report.
