Y Rashmani Memorial Hockey Landslide wins for HU, MLHU, YCCIC-B in U-15 Boys competition

IMPHAL, Mar 12 : Hockey Union, Lairikyengbam Leikai; MLHU, Mayai Lambi and YCCIC-B Kontha Ahallup routed their respective rivals in today's U-15 Boys' league matches in the ongoing 9th Y Rashmani Memorial Invitation 7-A-side hockey tournament.
It rained goals for HU in the Pool-B league encounter of the day staged at Marjing ground as they won 17-0 against SEYO, Singjamei.
M Manimatum ran riot in the earlier proceedings to thoroughly outlast SEYO defence and chip in 6 goals including the opener (9', 18', 21', 24', 31', 32').
Cyrus yet again produced a stellar performance and contributed 5 goals (13', 29', 29', 57') before skipper W Deris sprang into action and pumped in 7 goals alone (34', 39', 41', 42', 43', 58', 59').
Meanwhile in the Pool A league matches staged  at YCCIC ground, MLHU cruised to 11-0 win against KHSC-A, Khongman and YCCIC-B prevailed 13-0 against KCDO.
K Bikram (7'), Dilip K (14', 22', 27'), K Sanjit (16', 18', 19'), S Sanson (12', 17') and Th Jozup (38', 40') scored in the Mayai Lambi team's big win.
Sh Bidyacharan (8', 20', 21', 39', 49'), L Pritam (18'), W Rohit (53', 58', 59'), Rishi Y (26', 30', 37') and Abisana (55') scored it for YCCIC-B, Kontha.
