New office bearers of Patriotic Writers Forum Manipur appointed

IMPHAL, Mar 14: New office bearers of Patriotic Writers Forum Manipur was selected at a General Body meeting of the forum held today at Manipur Press Club.
Naoroibam Khamba Luwang, founding member of the forum was selected as the new president; incumbent secretary Rakesh Naorem will continue to discharge the duty of secretary; Sobita Mongjam was re-elected as vice-president and Devjani Yumnam was selected as finance secretary.
Yaiskul Khwairakpam, Nongmaithem Noren Singh, OC Meira, Lenin Khumancha, Okendro Khundongbam, Ak Gyaneshwari and Laimujam Pratap Singh were also selected as executive members of the forum.
The event was attended by Yaiskul Khwairakpam, outgoing president, Patriotic Writers Forum Manipur; Thokchom Chandra, former president, Patriotic Writers Forum Manipur; Leishanthem Ibeyaima, former vice president, Patriotic Writers Forum Manipur; Wahengbam Hemabati, patron member; S Manishang, patron member and Konjengbam Dilip, patron member as presidium members. Rakesh Naorem presented the annual report while NS Singh presented the annual statement of account at the GB meeting.
