MU organises 39th Orientation Programme

UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, Manipur University (MU) is conducting the 39th Orientation Programme from March 8 till 27.
The inaugural function on March 8 was graced by Prof S Sanatombi Singha, vice chancellor of Manipur University, Dr Premlata Maisnam, coordinator of the orientation programme  and Prof Homendra Naorem, director, UGC-HRDC, MU as the presidium members.
The programme is the first offline orientation programme conducted after COVID-19 lockdown wherein 40 teachers from different colleges of Manipur are participating, said a statement from MU.
The program will cover almost every field of study including cyber crimes, human trafficking, online class, Covid pandemic, Stress management etc by renounced expert in the respective fields.
Prof S Sanatombi Singha highlighted the importance of the New Education Policy-2020 in the backdrop of the Education Policy of 1986. The new policy encourages not only interdisciplinary but also multidisciplinary approaches to the teaching and learning process, she added.
