JAC states stand

IMPHAL, Mar 21
JAC against the killing of Rk Khasper expressed gratitude towards the Government and the Police Department for arresting the alleged 'culprits' in the killing.
The JAC however warned that if the culprits are given bail and they are not punished according to relevant laws, the JAC will not sit tight and it will be taken as an open invitation for further protest, said a statement issued by the JAC.
The statement also urged the Government to fill the post of OC of Singjamei Police Station that has been lying vacant as soon as possible.
