Free Medical Camp held

IMPHAL, Mar 21
On the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day, a Free Medical Camp was held at Kanghuchingjin Khullen in Imphal East today organised by Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons Manipur.
The camp is organised in collaboration with the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice Empowerment, Government of India and Department of Community Medicine, RIMS.
Ch Lokeshori Devi, secretary of the Relief Centre, Nimol Ningombam, media advisor and Laimayum Amarendra Sharma, State Commissioner for PWDs led the camp.
Around 87 patients were treated and medicines were provided for free  during the camp and tests for sugar, blood group and BP were also done.
