RS MP for UPSC exam centre in Manipur

IMPHAL, Mar 22 : Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba has asked the Central Government to establish a UPSC (Main) examination centre in Manipur.
Making a special mention in the Parliament today, the MP said that UPSC aspirants  belonging to poor or middle class families face  a lot of inconvenience in giving the main examination as they have to go to other States, such as Aizawl, Shillong, Guwahati etc.
Manipur is performing better than aspirants from some States since the last 5 years and over 30 students from the State cleared the preliminary examination in 2020, he reminded and urged the Central Government to fulfil the demand for the sake of the UPSC aspirants of Manipur.
