Y Rashmani Memorial 7-A-Side Hockey SYUC demolish MEIRAA 8-0 in U-17 girls opener

IMPHAL, Mar 8 : SYUC, Uchekon registered an emphatic 8-0 win against MEIRAA, Bashikhong in the U-17 girls opening match of the 9th Yumnam Rashmani Memorial Invitation U-15 Boy's and U-17 Girl's 7-A-Side Hockey Tournament today.
H Silky shone in this match as she pumped in five goals alone including a penalty corner (8', 20', 32', 42', 53') for SYUC and H Bidyaluxmi struck twice (26', 43'). Th Tamphasana scored the remaining goal in the 34th minute as MEIRAA girls failed to convert any of their chances.
U-15 Boys results
KCDO drubbed SEYO 4-0 to kick off their Pool B campaign in style as N Wilson (4'), Gynajit A (10'), L Dinesh (35') and N Dayananda (42') all found the target at Ibudhou Marjing ground.
In another Pool B encounter at YCCIC ground, HU played out a 4-4 draw with KHSC. Cyrus P scored thrice for HU (17', 21', 42') as M Manimatum added one (8'). For KHSC, L Harish too netted thrice (28', 38', 50') and Vickychandra scored one in the 41st minute.
In the lone Pool A league match staged at YCCIC ground, YCCIC-A edged past KHSC-A 3-2.
