IMPHAL, Apr 1: The conflict between the people of Andro and Sandangsenba Maring seems to be a part of an elaborated plan to cause “a well organised crime”, said Valley Village Reserve Forest Right Protection Association advisor Mutum Churamani today.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press club, he claimed that “the State Durbar in 1932 had included the site in question where a body was buried under Daak Sitha Sheet No 40”. To avoid such land related conflicts in future, the association has been urging the boundary commission to clearly demarcate the boundary between districts, he said.
The creation of the fact finding committee by the State Government in the case is appreciated, however depicting Sandangsenba as a part of Kangpokpi district is condemnable, he added.
