IMPHAL, Apr 10 : RCA, Lilong thumped LMCC, Mairenkhong by by 7 wickets as AKSDO, Khangabok down CAL by 6 runs in today's matches of the Thoubal District T-20 Cricket Tournament being underway at Moidangpok playground.
In the first match of the day, LMCC slumped to a paltry total of 75 runs in 16.5 overs after being let to bat first and RCA went past the target at the cost of three wickets in 12.2 overs as Ashlam Khan scored an unbeaten 38.
Rafiq with 16 runs was the highest scorer for LMCC as Samson led the bowling attack for RCA by snatching two wickets for 17 in his spell of 4 overs.
Ashlam of RCA was named man of the match.
Later in the day, AKSDO posted 150 runs for 6 after electing to bat first and restricted CAL to 144 for 6 wickets for the 6 run victory.
Khamba (33), Chinglen (27), Roshiroma (22) and Thoiba (17) were significant run getters for AKSDO in their innings which saw Arbind of CAL clinching three wickets and Kamal scalping twice.
Rohit hit a 40-ball 45 and Charanjit added 23 for CAL but their effort went in vain as AKSDO bowlers maintained good economy at the latter part of the game.
Chinglen who batted well before sending off three CAL batsmen on run out, was named man of the match.
Al-Ameen, Lilong will play RCA in the last league match tomorrow in the last league encounter of the tournament.
