Free eye screening camp conducted at Saipum YVA Unit, CCpur

CHURACHANDPUR , Apr 10
Shija Eye Care Foundation in association with NPCB (NHM), ADC Churachandpur and Saipum YVA Unit jointly organized a comprehensive eye camp at Saipum Community Hall today, said a statement of Shija Hospitals and Research Institute.
During the camp, 124 patients were examined for eye related problems. 21 cataracts, 12 pterygiums, 2 Chalazion, 1 Ptosis and 1 Squint were diagnosed during the camp. Doctor along with other supporting staff of the Shija Eye Care Foundation examined the patients, it added.
Shija Hospitals and Research Institute further informed that the patients detected with eye related problems would be treated under CMHT/PMJAY scheme.
