Killed in mishap

IMPHAL, Apr 9 : A road accident on Tiddim road in the wee hours today claimed the life of a man and left his wife and two children injured.
The family was travelling in a Hyundai i-20 car from Bishnupur towards Imphal when they met with the accident at around 1.45 am near Keinou Thongkha. It was a case of self accident, said police.
The deceased has been identified as Ngangom Tikendrajit Meitei (41) of Kumbi Terakha. He died because of the injury at the accident site.
The wife is identified as Luxmi and the two children-one boy and a girl, have been identified as Mahesh and Maher. All of them were evacuated to hospital for treatment, said the police.
Bishnupur police have registered a case.
