JAC demands

IMPHAL, Apr 27: JAC Against the Life Attempt on MD Rajaoddin and Aslam Khan at Urup demanded appropriate actions against the 4 unknown assailants who had assaulted of MD Rajaoddin and Aslam Khan and his son.
The 4 unknown assailants had assaulted the three on April 25, however, 3 of the unknowns were caught by the locals along with a gun and 1 had fled the scene, said Shershah, convenor of the JAC. He added that the apprehended person were handed over to Irilbung Police Station on the same day but no charge has been file against them.
Shershah added that the JAC has taken decision to prohibit entry of outsider in Urup, Keirao and Kiyamgei Muslim from 6 PM to 5 AM everyday to prevent any untoward incidence and if anyone wants to visit during the said hours, they have to take permission from Zilla Parishad, Pradhan or Members.
