JNIMS Director appeals

Dr Th Bhimo Singh, director, JNIMS appealed all the staffs of JNIMS not to take up any action that might disrupt the ongoing exam and paint a wrong image to the visiting assessors from NMC.
The Director said in a statement issued today that the very existence of JNIMS depends upon recognition by MCI now NMC, if they withdraw the recognition, the medical college will cease to exist.
Regarding the present demands made under the joint banner of three associations relating to the implementation of 7th pay revision, the authority has taken the issue seriously and is in active consideration at the joint sitting held on March 25, 2021 in the chamber of the Chief Secretary, he added.
The examinations for MBBS and PG courses scheduled by  Manipur University are currently going on and the team of 9 assessors are visiting during the exam, added the statement.
