IMPHAL, May 31 : The proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak has refuted the claim that  three insurgency leaders of Manipur were killed in Myanmar in a group clash.
The outfit, in a statement, said that publication of such news by certain  National media only aims at hindering the freedom struggle of Kangleipak.
People of Manipur should not be disheartened by such sabotage propaganda of the colonist India, the outfit said.
PREPAK further stated that the people of Manipur are well aware of the colonist India taking advantage of the media in exercising their expansionist policy.
It further charged that the task of colonial media operating in the country is to suppress the freedom struggle in the WESEA region and other parts of the country.
Had these colonial media 'reveal' the violence meted out by the occupational force in the region, the international community might have supported the freedom movement of Manipur, PREPAK added.
If such a circulation of unverified news continued in future by any media, the outfit and the Red Army might start seeing them the same way as they see the India Union and its occupational force, the statement added.
Saying that this sabotage propaganda will not be able to hinder the freedom struggle of the outfit, PREPAK contended that the outfit is still firm in its commitment and will continue fighting for the people of Manipur.
