Prayer offered at Koubru Leikha

IMPHAL, Jun 17: Rajarshi Bhagyachandra Cultural Foundation Manipur offered prayer at the sacred site of Koubru Leikha seeking divine intervention in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that has affected the whole nation.
The prayer ceremony was led by MP RK Ranjan, MP Leishemba Sanajaoba and MLA N Indrajit amongst other.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Leishemba Sanajaoba said whenever any calamities befolds upon us, we always pray to God and that has been known to ease our suffering and made us mentally stronger in the past. Praying to God in such crucial time of the pandemic will surely ease our suffering, he added.
Takhellabam Irabot, spokesperson, Rajarshi Bhagyachandra Cultural Foundation Manipur, said many spiritual leaders and experts opined that Rudra Abhisek, Durga Agni Puja and Sapta Sati Puja ceremonies will be beneficial in easing the hardships being faced by the public during the pandemic. Taking this into consideration, the foundation took permission from DC Kangpokpi to organised the prayer ceremony in strict observance of all SOP.
