New SPs for IE, IW named

IMPHAL, Jun18 : In a major shake up the State Government has effected the transfer and posting of at least 37 IPS and MPS officers including the SPs of Imphal East and Imphal West.
An order to this effect was issued in the evening today.
As per the new posting and transfer, the SP of Imphal East H Jogeshchandra has been transferred as the SP of Thoubal while N Herojit Meetei has been transferred as the SP of Imphal East from his earlier posting as CO of 3rd IRB.
Likewise the SP of Imphal West K Meghachandra Singh has been transferred as the SP of NAB while Dr S Ibomcha the then SP of Thoubal has been named as the SP of Imphal West.
