Climate change

IMPHAL, Jun 25 : Officials of Directorate of Environment and Climate Change, reporters and subject experts today convened a virtual meeting and deliberated on how to enhance reporting on climate change to create effective awareness among the general population.
The meeting was attended by noted journalist Nitin Sethi (recipient of ACJ Award for Investigative Journalism); Editor of Imphal Imphal Review of Arts and Politics, Pradip Phanjoubam; Editor of the Sangai Express-Manipuri Edition, Khogendra Khomdram; former senior journalist, Irengbam Arun and Jt Director of Directorate of Environment and Climate Change, T Brajakumar and fellow reporters from various media houses selected for “Manipur State Level Media Fellowship on Climate Change”.
Challenges faced by fellow reporters while reporting were highlighted and discussed during the meeting wherein Nitin Sethi and Pradip Phanjoubam also analyzed and suggested possible solutions to the challenges.
