ASUM lauds Government

The Aimol Students' Union Manipur (ASUM), Aimol Tribe Union Manipur(ATUM) and Aimol village Authority extended their appreciation to the State Government for approving the construction of 11th IRB at Saivom village, Tengnoupal District during a Cabinet Meeting of the Government on June 23, 2021.
However, the unions in a statement also condemned the allocation of construction site for the 11th IRB without the consent of the land owners.
The Unions further appealed to the concerned authority/department to first ascertain the rightful owners of the land before initiating any construction work.
