IMPHAL, Jun 6 (PIB) : Giving their side of the story, PIB (Defence Wing) today claimed that security forces launched an operation in the night of June 4 to nab the secretary of KRA and some other cadres at Kangpokpi.
While making inquiries, KRA cadres and their accomplices manhandled one Assam Rifles personnel and tried to fire, said PIB (DW) in a statement and added that sensing the danger and threat to life, the personnel reacted using ‘minimum force.’ One person was killed in the incident.
