Drugs seized

Senapati, Jul 15 :A team of Senapati police on duty at  Hengbung near TCP seized drugs worth  crores of rupees in international markets from a truck bearing West Bengal number on Wednesday at around 8 pm.
The police team which included women personnel was led by ML Kaisungbou, Addl SP (NH).
Briefing media persons, SP Senapati M Pradip Singh stated that 9975 WY tablets in 50 packets and 15 packets of suspected Methamphetamine (Ice drugs) were found  concealed inside the truck. He apprised that a case has been registered against the truck driver Md Azad Khan  (21) s/o Md Oli of Lilong Ushoipokpi. Chief Minister N Biren Singh lauded the team for the seizure.
