IMPHAL, Jul 18
Many organisations extended their warm wishes on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha , one of the sacred festival of the Islam followers.
Villages Community Progressive Committee (VCPC) extended warm wishes to the people on the occasion of upcoming Eid-al-Adha festival.
The committee prayed that may the bond of love and unity be strengthened among the various communities in the State and also prayed to the Almighty that the global COVID-19 pandemic be overcomed, said a press release by VCPC.
Further the committee appealed to all concerned to celebrate the sacred occasion by strictly maintaining the Covid SOPs and protocols laid by the Government.
All Manipur Muslim Development Committee (AMMDC) extended greetings for Id-dul-ajha to the people of the State especially the Muslim brethren.
In a statement issued today, AMMDC said Id-dul-ajha, which falls on July 21 is one of the most important festival for Muslim across the globe and prayed the festival will increase the bond of love, cooperation, mutual understanding and a sense of brotherhood amongst all the communities.
Manipur Muslim Welfare Organisation (MMWO) also extended greetings on the eve of Id-dul-ajha to the people of Manipur. The organisation appealed to all to follow Covid SOPs and guidelines strictly while celebrating the festival.
