Dr Lorho Pfoze receives 'Corona Warrior Award 2021'

Senapati, Jul 20: In recognition for his contribution towards the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, Manipur's Outer Lok Sabha MP, Dr Lorho Pfoze was conferred the 'Corona Warrior Award 2021' at Mumbai on Monday.
The said award was instituted by Paranubhuti Foundation and The Hindu Foundation based at Mumbai.
Maharashtra Governor, Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Monday felicitated the MP with other Awardees at the Raj Bhavan in the presence of Dr Bhushan Jadhav, executive president Paranubhuti Foundation and Sandip Gupta, president The Hindu Foundation.
Dr Lorho Pfoze has been at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19 since the initial outbreak in the State last year. The MP has been providing food items and other Covid relief materials including ventilators and protective kits all over the State.
Speaking to media persons, Dr Lorho expressed his gratitude to all the people associated with his initiatives and said, "This Covid-19 relief work has been made possible with the help of various organizations and individuals".
Special mention made during the programme includes Somi Roy @International Women's Polo and Satyajit Aribam (co-recipient from Manipur) in collaboration with INTOUCH, Swasth Foundation, Shree Krishna Foundation & JV Gokal Charity Trust (Mumbai).
