Speaker condoles

IMPHAL, Aug 10
Speaker Y Khemchand Singh condoled the untimely demise of the State Information Commissioner, Dr S Ibocha Singh (IPS Retd) who also served as an IGP in Manipur Police Department.
In his condolence message, the Speaker Singh recalled him as an able police officer who had rendered many commendable services.
As a writer, he had invaluable contributions to the Manipuri Literature and besides he was a sports loving person, added the message.
The Speaker also stated the untimely demise of Dr S Ibocha is a huge loss for the Manipuri Society and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and extended his condolence to the bereaved family.
Manipur Keithel Nupi Marup of Khwairamband Ima Keithel also mourned the sudden demise of Dr S Ibocha Singh.
