'Will strive to realize visions of Comrade Pheiroijam Parijat Singh'

The 20th annual conference of Communist Party of India (CPI), Lamlai Local Council was held at Lamlai Chalou Irabot Memorial Hall today.
Speaking on the occasion, Comrade H Bimol, who is intending to contest the upcoming State Assembly from Lamlai Assembly Constituency said that CPI Lamlai Local Council will strive earnestly to realize the dream of Comrade Pheiroijam Parijat Singh who had worked relentlessly for the upliftment of farmers and the working class in Lamlai AC, said a press release by CPI, Manipur State Council.
Stating that this year is one of the hardest for the people of Lamlai AC especially the farmers, he demanded that adequate compensation should be provided by the Government to the owners of barren fields due to scanty rainfall this season. The demands should be fulfilled at the earliest failing which the farmers and CPI will stage stringent agitation. Also he appealed to the authorities concerned that the seeds of winter crops should be distributed to the farmers.
The programme was graced by Comrade N Tombi and Comrade S Ibotombi as presidium members and it was also attended by Central Executive member, Dr M Nara, State Secretary L Sotinkumar and leaders RK Amusana and Th Megha among others.
