Hindi Diwas

IMPHAL, Sep 14 : Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB), Imphal today organised "Hindi Diwas" at the auditorium of the bureau.
L Vedanti Devi, former Assistant Director (Official Language), All India Radio attended the programme as a resource person and delivered a lecture on "Using Hindi in Official Procedure", said a statement issued by Programme-in-charge of ROB, Imphal.
Recitation and essay writing competitions and cultural programmes were main highlights of the "Hindi Diwas" celebration, it said.
B Narayan, Additional DG (Region), Imphal, PIB and ROB, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting; Dr A Ibomcha Sharma, Head of Office, ROB Imphal and other officials of the ROB attended the programme.
