IMPHAL, Sep 18: BJP’s Manipur election in-charge and Union Minister for Labour and Employment, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav has categorically stated that BJP would fight the next Manipur Legislative Assembly election on the plank of development.
Bhupender Yadav, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Sushri Pratima Bhoumik and Assam’s Urban, Housing and Urban Development Minister Ashok Singhal arrived at Imphal today and they were accorded a warm reception at the Nityaipat Chuthek office of BJP Manipur Pradesh.
Speaking at the gathering, Bhupender Yadav remarked that India successfully manufactured COVID vaccines and the Govt has administered the vaccines to millions of citizens free of cost.
This is a realisation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream for Atmanirbhar Bharat or self-reliant India, he said.
Bhupender appealed to all BJP workers to always work for welfare of people and win people’s faith.
Claiming that BJP has been winning elections at the Panchayat, Municipality and State levels, Bhupender Yadav asserted that democracy can be meaningful only when all work together from grassroots level to the top level.
Conveying gratitude to the people of Manipur for electing the BJP-led Government, Bhupender pointed that electoral politics is impossible without people’s support.   
BJP general secretary (NE States) Ajay Jamwal exuded confidence that BJP would emerge victorious in the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election.
Elaborating on BJP’s organisational structure, Ajay Jamwal advised BJP workers of the State to complete all organisational activities by September 25.
Chief Minister N Biren expressed his happiness over the appointment of Bhupender Yadav as Manipur election in-charge.
