MSC/CPI clarifies unofficial news report

IMPHAL, Sep 21: Manipur State Council, Communist Party of India (MSC/CPI) has refuted the circulation of a news report in print and electronic media claiming the party's support to Md. Sheikh Noorul Hassan, intending candidate of National People's Party of Khetrigao A/C and categorically stated that the report is not official.
According to a press release issued by L Sotinkumar, secretary MSC/CPI, there has never been any discussion to endorse an intending candidate of another party by MSC/CPI. Khetrigao Local Council has also denied making any such resolution of supporting another intending candidate as per the press note.
