BISHNUPUR, Sep 27: Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, North East Circle, RS Ramesh arrived in Manipur today on a three-day visit.
The Chief General Manager (CGM) in his visit inspected SBI branches in Bishnupur district, planted tree saplings at Sendra and handed over a Bolero Pick Up truck to Bethesda Khankho Foundation.
RS Ramesh was accorded a warm welcome by staff of SBI Moirang Branch before visiting the INA Museum in INA Martyrs Memorial Complex.
The CGM in association with DFO Bishnupur, Dr Rebika Soibam and officials of SBI then planted tree saplings at Sendra.
RS Ramesh also handed over a Bolero truck to Bethesda Khankho Foundation, S Salbung under the SBI Corporate Social Responsibility during a simple function held at Sendra Hill Resort.
Speaking on the occasion, RS Ramesh stated that the Bolero Pick-up was donated as a part of the assistance provided to the CSOs, NGOs and other organisations carrying out humanitarian services under the Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme of SBI India.
